“Fateh Al-Mulhim Explanation of Sahih Muslim” by: Sheikh Shubair Ahmed Al-Othmani: A Study of Prophetic Tradition
Abstract
This book "Fateh al-Mulhim" is considered one of the best late explanations of “Sahih Muslim”, explaining all Hadith in each chapter very accurately, not leaving out any issues of jurisprudence without clarification as well as mentioning proof of every Islamic jurisprudence school of Fiqh issues and comparing them and giving preference to some fairly. He disproves also of many deviations. Sheikh Shabair himself used to be one of the greatest Hadith Narrators in his time and this study deals with the above mentioned book and introducing the author as well as parts of his scholarly life in short.
