The guiding regulations of the electronic means of communication in the light of the Prophet’s sunnah
Abstract
The Electronic means of communication is the phenomenon of the technological applications during the Fourth Industrial Revolution. It has widely spread beyond time, place, cultures, nationalities and languages having both positive and negative effects on individuals, societies and countries in the moral, behavioral and scientific aspects, besides other aspects of the religious and the secular life. It has become irreplaceable, which required the search for the regulations determined by the Prophet’s Sunnah to handle the negatives of the electronic means of communication and rationalize their use to benefit from their positives and solve their problems. The research objective: Outlining the regulations determined by the Prophet’s Sunnah to rationalize the use of the electronic means of communication that prevents or decreases its negatives and benefits from its positives. Research approach: It depended on the inductive the descriptive and analytical approaches in dealing with the research topic. Among the results of the research: The necessity of activating and disseminating the Islamic regulations to rationalize the use of the electronic means of communication, in a manner that consolidates personal control and benefits from its positive aspects. The most important regulations to rationalize the use of the electronic means of communication are the sincerity of intention to God Almighty, the adherence to the Islamic reference, the maintenance of public order, the truthfulness and the confirmation upon transferring, stopping inflicting others and preventing the publication of what calls for obscenity, shame and crime.
